    • What is Voice Therapy?

    • Voice Therapy is an approach to treating voice disorders patients after the comprehensive voice analysis examination.
      The purpose of voice therapy is to help you attain the best possible voice and the most relief from the vocal symptoms that make you uncomfortable.

      The treatment involves vocal and physical exercises coupled with behavioral changes according to the examination result following breathing, vocalizing, and resonance.




      Various treatment methods of voice therapy

      1) Confidential voice therapy : Involves reducing overall loudness of the voice.

      2) The Accent Method : Involves accents and rhythmic changes during phonation.

      3) The Lee Silverman Technique (LSVT) : Patients are trained to produce longer and louder voice in dysarthria or hypofunctional voice disorders.

      4) The Alexander Technique : A method for improving ease and freedom of movement, balance, support, and coordination.

      5) Feldenkrais Technique  

      6) Inhalation phonation : A technique used to eliminate excessive tension of muscles.

      7) Vegetative and Reflexive Technique : Program for treating voice disorders caused by excessive muscle tone like conversion aphonia.
