Dr. Hu Huiying, affiliated with Nanjing Dongin Hospital in China, underwent a two-month dispatched training at the Yeson Voice Center from July. The purpose of this training was to establish the Nanjing Dongin Yeson Voice Center locally.
During the training period, Dr. Hu conducted comprehensive examinations of vocal folds, including objective and professional multidimensional measurements of vocal dynamics, as well as assessments, analyses, and acquisition of voice management and rehabilitation programs based on individual patient conditions, including both patients with vocal disorders and voice professionals such as singers, musical actors, announcers, show hosts, and teachers. Dr. Hu also observed surgeries.
Dr. Hu expressed amazement at the medical technology in Korea, where vocal folds are measured and managed so meticulously and selectively treated using PDL (Pulsed dye laser) during surgery to coagulate only the blood vessels of the vocal folds, preventing the recurrence of lesions. He stated, "It was a meaningful time to experience the advanced systems, speech therapy, and medical training at the world-renowned Yeson Voice Center. I will do my best as part of the collaborative hospital, 'Nanjing Dongin Yeson Voice Center,' in Nanjing, China."
